With the sun shining and the flowers in full bloom, spring is finally in full swing. As we’re situated at the heart of Gower with its stunning beaches and rolling downs, there’s no better place to enjoy this enchanting season. With this in mind, it probably comes as no surprise that we’ve got a lot planned for the next couple of weeks. Here’s just a taste of the magic:
Picnics on the lawn
Our afternoon tea has always been something special, but now you can enjoy it in our beautiful listed grounds for an even more memorable experience. Simply request upon booking and we will provide you with a lovely picnic basket and traditional tartan blanket to enjoy your tea on our lawn.
Within our 24-acres of private grounds, you’ll find glistening lakes, an enchanting woodland and perfectly manicured lawns. In fact, you’ll be spoiled for choice on where to indulge in our signature afternoon tea. Pick your spot, pitch up, sit back, relax and toast the stunning views with a glass of chilled champagne while indulging in our fluffy pastries and flavoursome bites. If the weather isn't permitting, we can move it all inside for you; this is Wales after all!
Start the bank holiday in style and make Good Friday an occasion to remember by joining us for a sumptuous dining experience in our award-winning restaurant. Our daily board will focus on offering delicious fresh fish and seafood dishes which will be available all day! Expect Lobster Thermidor, fillet of wild sea bass and hake with Welsh rarebit, which we recommend washing down with a crisp glass of Sauvignon blanc.
Easter Sunday lunch
Let us do the cooking on Easter Sunday so you can spend quality time with your family or friends at Fairyhill. We’ve become famous for our Sunday lunch menu and we know that an Easter Sunday lunch should be something extra special. The food on your fork matters to us, whether you choose our succulent slow-cooked shoulder of Gower lamb or our meltingly tender beef sirloin, all dishes are served with rich, homemade gravy and fresh vegetables picked from our very own Gower garden.
What’s more, with our Easter Sunday lunch menu, you can enjoy two mouthwatering courses from just £25pp. Whilst we’re sure you’re more than happy to forgo the Easter eggs and indulge in something more decadent from our menus, we wouldn’t want the kids to miss out! As such, we’ll even treat any children to a free Easter egg. We do only have a few tables remaining though, so call to book before it's too late!
Monthly wedding showcase
As you know, weddings are a huge part of what we do. Over the years, the Oldwalls Collection has become synonymous with weddings, so our wedding showcases are not to be missed. You’ll see the magic of Fairyhill come to life in our fully dressed venue. There’s no better chance to envision what your big day could look like. Plus, you’ll also get the chance to visit our award-winning sister venue, Oldwalls Gower, so you can decide which one best suits you.
