Dining delights for your October diaries 

Although summer may have drawn to an all too abrupt close, there’s still plenty to look forward to at Fairyhill as we move into autumn. We’re proud to announce that we’ll be hosting two extra special dining nights this October.

Taste of Provence: Thursday 12th October

The culinary culture of Provence in Southern France has been an inspiration to chefs for years, and it's not difficult to see why. We're very excited for what our chefs have been cooking up in the kitchen to bring a taste of Provence to Gower. We don't want to give too much away just yet, but you can expect six delicious courses that will give you a true taste of France. Our menu will feature our take on the classic savory soup, Bouillabaisse, as well as a meltingly tender shoulder of lamb, cooked in a tasty rosemary jus that'll leave you salivating. All you need to know is, c’est délicieux! 

Taste of Gower: Thursday 26th October


With our enviable location at the heart of Gower, what better way is there to enjoy the true taste of Gower? Our award-winning chefs have prepared a menu which boasts some of Wales’ best produce along with a dash of ingenuity and imagination.

Both events will comprise of a six-course lavish taster menu plus canapés and a glass of fizz on arrival.  Our prices are set at £59 or £79 if you add a wine flight. Plus, we’re giving our guests an exclusive 25% discount on rooms, which will start from £150 for bed and breakfast so you can also sample our famous Welsh breakfast the next morning and enjoy a walk around our Grade II listed grounds. This foodie event is perfect for those looking for a romantic meal or to celebrate a special occasion with a group in style.

For those who don’t know, we’ll be closing our grand old doors throughout November in order to transform our house in time for Christmas and adapt to create the wedding venue of your dreams. As such, we’ve decided to go out with a bang with these two nights of exquisite dining; it’ll be your last chance to experience Fairyhill as you know it. Although we can’t wait to share the next chapter with you!
